The Chromatic Domains
Instead of gods, the Colors are worshipped after a fashion. Chromats are especially prone to devote their lives to their primary Color. When a person trains in a Color, they more strongly embody that Color in their personality and the way they interact with the world. Reds are often considered rash, and Blues calm. Oranges are mistrusted and Yellows aren’t taken seriously. This does lead to some discrepancies in viewpoints between chromats of various Colors, but for the most part, each Color is considered to be an equal aspect of Light as a whole. Light, in many ways, can be considered a deity, and is worshiped as the giver of all things in the universe. Organizations that uphold this view of the Colors frequently use prisms in their symbols. They promote the idea of a balance between all Colors, and often don’t worry about the science so much as the existential meaning. There are also creatures at the opposite end of the spectrum (no pun intended), who believe one Color to be superior in one way or another. Frequently, these creatures have a Color composition that is overwhelmingly made of one Color, such as demons or angels. Dragons especially hold this belief about their associated Color. Chromats are rarer among creatures with this belief.
