The Chromatic Domains
When the races were first created, they were the result of a proportioned mix of Colors. Dwarves have much Red in them relative to Elves, for example. This proportion is given as percentages of a whole, and the entirety is called a creature’s “Color composition”. The average Color composition for a race is called a “racial Color composition”. Color composition determines the typical characteristics of a race as a whole, and not necessarily the specific attributes of an individual, as the composition varies little between members of a race. In fact, it is nearly impossible to distinguish two creatures of the same race by looking at their individual Color compositions. The, arguably, more important characteristic of a creature is their Color spread.
